Oh, I forgot! I have to ask a question.

Does anyone on the forum play a banjo and if so, why?

Wow yeah. Long time ago I was in south Carolina and had to go to Birmingham. the coach was packed and this lady sat next to me but there was so little space for luggage, she asked if I would hold some stuff for her. So I ended up with a music case on my lap. We got chatting and her name was Susannah Goldten. Turns out she played the banjo and it was her banjo on my knee the whole way to Alabama. Sort of inspired me.

Do you like black and white films

100 x more than colour films, and silents are best. true art consists in stripping away from real life, not in reproducing it as faithfully as possible.

"makes whoppee" - Isn't that what they always said on that show?

Along the same lines...where will your wife/husband say is the most unusual place that you've "made whoppee?"

Wink It was my 12:30 dessert to the noontime meal offered me by allen ludden and betty white.

My favourite Saturday morning cartoon had to be The Jetsons. I guess when I was a kid, I wanted to believe that somewhere in the future, things would actually be like it was in the cartoon; automated everything, space travel a robot maid etc Laughing

What's your idea of the perfect date ??

This might prove to be a thread-killer, S -- I think everyone here, with the exceptions of J. Truzzi and S. Minnow, is married.

But I can tell you that there's no point in asking a man what his idea of the perfect date is, since they will all give you the same answer.

So carry on, ladies... Crush
