I was asking Ape/Weatherbox about the availability of 'Where Did All The Ordinary People Go?', 'Spiral', & 'Say It' on CD format t'other day.

A charming young lady called me to say that they're not available on CD right now, but they may well be in the future - YUMMY!

Thanks for the gemm link. otherwise I'd have never realised someone thought an album I did 25 years ago might be on sale for $378!

PS Thanks Admin

I have this song on a CD somewhere. I believe it was recorded during the Mummer sessions and is just a bit of fun really.

Wordy Rappaport is an amalgamation of...

'The Dwarf', I suspect, is one of Andy's imaginary dance routines (a bit like The Rotary, but without the flailing arms). It might involve shuffling around on your knees. Unless of course you already happen to be less than 4 feet tall, in which case just jig about a bit.

God, I loved David Rappaport in Time Bandits. It's one of my favorite movies and I had no idea that he passed away 18 years ago. Shit. Crying or Very sad

I burned a copy of the most recent stray non album tracks and it doesnt quite work cause I am mixing solo songs and XTC songs and its just a mishmash

I added Wonderfalls with Sprial and Say it and Ordinary people go--etc etc there just isint quite enough

I added tin toy to the dukes tracks that sort of works----but still its cheating

On another I did an imaginary Partridge solo album with Tin toy and Wonderfalls and Cherry in your tree and that sort of works---but then I am raiding the sanctity of fuzzy warbles which is sort of uncool

we need a few more stray tracks and then maybe there will be enough!

I said this hundreds of times on the old forum, so I might as well start again here: what we need is an expanded version of Rag and Bone Buffet, taking in ALL the non-album tracks from the Virgin years (yes, including all the live songs, the remixes, and the songs from the Wrapped in Grey single).

Maybe this would prompt the release of a similar Idea years collection (Pick 'n' Mix Picnic, anyone?) which might also include a few extra morsels that didn't make it to the Fuzzy Warbles series.

I guessed it would have something to do with Tom Tom Club
