yes. First there was Field Music. Then there was School of language. Now their is a third band. The otehr two field msuic members have this lovely little band they call a blend between Peter gabriel and Japan ( Tin Drum).

You know it will be good.

Also nip over to Radio 6 on the internet and hear a School of Language
session from today ( 6.00 pm).

So how's the album Martin?

The Week That Was and School of Language play in Manchester (Deaf Institute bar) next Thursday 14th - two fantastic bands for a measly £5. See you down the front if I can find anywhere to buy the damn tickets online/phone.

you know i have to admit field music/school of language have grown on me they do seem to have something unusual in their arrangments and are well worth effort

i'm liking the week that was even more.....i've only heard that single and a session on the radio but i'm impressed

they played a set at the re-opening of the tyneside cinema last month couldn't get a ticket for love nor money

canny singing accents Laughing

After hearing some of their tunes and checking out their MySpace page (Tony Levin is one of their 'friends') I'll definitely want to check them out and see how they pull their music off live. Thanks again Mr Tein!

Twas a rare event. A bdnad playing their album in its entirty int he order it appears on the album. A few top ups with Field music songs at the end.

Tremondous energy and fun in the performance.

Nu prog at its best!
