Dear XTC,

Does one guy constitute a “band?” I mean, if one guy is a band, should you specify that it’s a “one-man band,” or is that a hopelessly outdated term?

Which song do you like best: Leo Sayer’s “One Man Band” or Three Dog Night’s “One Man Band?”

Do you know if, in the history of mankind, there has ever been a one man band in which the one man only had one arm? How about one leg? One arm and one leg?

simp, you seem to be having issues with the fact that Andy is ignoring you. I don't think you should take this personally. I'm sure it has very little to do with you. I'll even go so far as to say that I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that you ask such unbearably silly questions.

No, I think Andy's lack of response to you probably has to do with his own deep-rooted psychological needs and anxieties. He may even want to respond to you very much, but perhaps is afraid to open up that potential floodgate of emotions. So what does he do? He stays "safe" by ignoring you.

Or maybe he simply thinks you should go fuck yourself. Either way, I wouldn't let it get me down.

Or perhaps Andy thinks that the longer he ignores him, the more bizarre questions Simp will come up with.

Of course it's easier to ignore simp when he posts "questions" for "XTC" when he does so in the section for "other artists"

...not to mention a "sad temporary forum" where any answers will be basically lost when it's everntually "abandoned".

I wasn't complaining that they ignore us. I was starting a thread because there was no place for them to ignore us. What were they gonna do? Start a thread? Come on people, pay attention!

Also, yes, I've been moderated. I'm okay with that. It's debatable whether or not I've been moderated into the correct thread, but who am I to question god? Whoops, wrong thread! Embarassed

Finally, I was making a clever joke regarding the word "they." Ha ha ha!

Yeah, I waited to move it until it became either a thread about one-person bands (with a misleading title) or a thread about asking XTC questions (with a misleading post) Smile

And then I bitched, because I'm pretty sure moderators are suposed to be bitchy... or distant. I think it's a rule.
