"Season Cycle" is possibly the best XTC song ever. _________________ Don't let the picture fool you!

Ballad For A Rainy Day, 1000 Umbrellas and Season Cycle is probably the best song trio in XTCs discography. But then again the last five songs on Oranges And Lemons are a quite nice packet, too. Hmm... |

The album starts off best out of all the albums. If it weren't for Supergirl, the entire album would've been spectacular. |

"Summer's Cauldron" is of course one of the best XTC album openers and a masterpiece of a song. Some of Partridge's very best lyrics. But I never experienced "Grass" and "The Meeting Place" as outstanding songs.
I really loved Supergirl when I first got the album. But it started to feel stale quite soon... |

I love the 1-2 combo opening. In fact, my kids go nuts for Grass and always ask me to skip Summer's Cauldron so that they can sing to it several times in a row. They really enjoy the video, which is one of the few good ones XTC did. _________________ Where are we? |

"Earn Enough For Us."
The best Beatle song the Beatles didn't make. |
