even Andy threw a compliment at Morrissey for his compiling of the new york dolls anthology.......quite incredible that the new york dolls are responsible for influencing both the smiths and xtc Wink

I think what you wrote about Morrissey's voice is true for me, Platty. I'm not a fan of his singing voice.
