Pugwash, and now finishing the evening with the MP3 list from the computer as I type...'Dr.Wu, Black Cow, and 'Your Gold Teeth' by S.Dan, purveyors of cheap thrills to the jaded denizens of the 21st C. None better.
'Statue of Liberty', 'The Disappointed' by Our Boys of Swindon. And now to bed, to dream of pleasant things, and a nice lie-in tomorrow. Goodnight, Forum pals!

Out of the Shadow by Rogue Wave, which I bought at their gig Monday night. It is their first album (they have two more) and sounds like XTC meets Field Music to me. I think it is great!!!

Reading, Writing & Arithmetic by The Sundays

Gorgeous! Like The Smiths fronted by a woman, but better! In particular I like "I Won", "A Certain Someone" and "Can't Be Sure" but all of it's brilliant to me.

Because of the Times - Kings of Leon

Sometimes I just don't want to be told what to listen to and almost consciously avoid "critically acclaimed" bands. But I just got this from the library. I was really missing out!
