I loved this thread. So

Do you think in this new forum we should recall a lot of our old favourites or should we plough new ground?

Just do as you feel. Old stuff good, new stuff good, it's all good.

Where are you going on your holidays this year?

Lovesick Lake in Burleigh Falls, Ontario. We rent a cottage every year at a resort there. No tv, no computer, no radio ~ bliss!

I'll miss my old membership.

Is the weather as lovely there as it is here?

Here in London we had a really nice sunny spell that lasted into early this week with temperatures reaching 27 degress on Sunday. Last couple of days have been overcast and rainy and today feels really cold - should be a little better at the weekend.

On what website, other than this perhaps, do you spend most time?

I don't think I've ever thought about people in those terms but I definitely get the impression that some of the more common types around our way do.

Are you secretly (or openly) glad that Pelle hasn't started posting here yet and, that when he does, you know you've got a head start on him?

No.
I'd much rather have Pelle posting and leading me in posts,
than having him not post and me lead him.
This number of posts thing is silly anyway.

Has your life turned out how you thought it would when you were a kid?

No, I'm broke and in no way associated with space exploration.

Do you ever see any old school friends?

Just today I had lunch with a high school friend that I hadn't seen in a decade. We had a mutual friend (my high school sweetheart) whose father just died unexpectedly from a heart attack, and we talked at the funeral service. She and my ex had been best friends in high school and her boyfriend was my best friend. She gave me a video of me singing "Pinball Wizard" with my first band when I was 17 (I'm considering posting it so you'se can have a good laugh at my expense).

Other than those two women I don't have any contact with any friends from high school.

Looking back on your life so far, what is your biggest regret at this stage?

I'm beginning to realize that the old saying is true: youth is wasted on the young.
