I've got the original (ES) bought at the time of release. That is the album, it sounds like it does, that's the beautiful thing about it, if it didn't sound like that it wouldn't be the album I love. I remember AP saying all the non techno things they did to create certain sounds. Brilliant. I don't want old pictures of my parents digitally enhanced, why would I. I love my old scratched LP's because they have soul. I don't need them to have Botox to be something they were not intended or rather turned out to be.

Nail on the head, don. I've never been one for remixes or any of that pants.
Totally agree! Smile

Hello Bimbsy... still around, though out of work! Been busy with the kids during the hols. But, I'm still perplexed as to the loss of these masters of ES... but I would not like this remixed, unless it was for a 5.1 DVD release. The album is a gem, a truly brilliant double album, that still sounds fresh today - IMO... Smile

Hey Terry, hang in there! My work (as well) has slowed down quite a bit (painfully so) so I can empathize with the agony of the economy. But being able to hit stuff (like drum skins) has got to be (at least) slightly cathartic, eh?
It's sure nice to see you around here!
