I've just had a lovely e-mail from AnotherSatellite. He misses everyone, and expects to be back with us in early October.

He asked me to pass on this message:

Three weeks ago, was vacationing in Seattle, northwest corner of continental U.S., when John Relph of Chalkhills posted on Facebook that he had driven to my town, southeast corner of continental U.S., to dine with an XTC fan he had never met, obviously a Chalkhills denizen. I almost lost my mind, told him to get us in touch, etc., didn't hear back from him.
In traffic last week, gazing idly at the Honda Element in front of me, noticed a green-and-white Uffington horse bumper sticker...
It's her. There's another one here in Mobile, Ala., the mossy armpit of the Gulf Coast, and she's got it so bad that she names photo albums on FB after XTC songs ("Red Brick Dream, Orange Fur Dream" for her house and cat, apparently...)

She's already talking about a Gathering. We'll have to get longinglook involved.

If the Honda Element was a coppery orange, I bet that it is Red Brick Dream. She was an XTC Official Forumer formerly from the Los Angeles area, and dang, I miss her!!! She'd organize our mini-gatherings and with whom it was a blast to spend quality time chattering about XTC.

If it is she, count yourself very lucky, Another Satellite!!!

It sure was great having 'the cutter' (aka 'malibu69') make an appearance here.

And to everyone else who was on the Idea forum:
We miss you!
