The game is to try to name the song from the intro chords.
But you HAVE to say what band it is.
Otherwise it would probably be too hard.

So, if you write:

by Soundgarden -
Asus4
C6/9
G5
F#5
Fsus4
E7sus4

...the answer is:
"Black Hole Sun"

Or, if you write:

by XTC -
Em
Fmaj7b5/E
Em7
E7

...the answer is:
"Humble Daisy"

And you don't have to be totally right on the chords,
just close enough so if you play it you can hear what it is.

So here's the first one:

by the Kinks -
C _ _ _ C _ _ _
C C C C _ D D _
E

I thought that was "Urgent" by Foreigner if it was transposed up a whole step.

I think it is 'Angie', but the last chord is wrong?

I'll try it when I get home.

Definitely 'Angie', surely!

Here's an easy one:

G - D(F#bass)- E(G#bass) - Am - D

It's by XTC.

Books are Burning. Nice.

How about this early New Wave hit (I'll be too easy if I tell you the artist):

C#min-C#min
D - D
D/Ebass - D/Ebass (4 more beats)
A - E - G- D...

I think it's 'Is She Really Going Out With Him' by the fabulous Joe Jackson.

Yes you're right. Haven't played this one since the seventees and I used to play E7/B just before the verse begins. But when I listen to it now Keith seems to play the arpeggio B (2nd fret A string) D (open string) and C (1st fret B string). And that is definetely not an E7.

C'mon paranoid, don't know if you're right but give us a new song anyway.

Ok - aff the tap o' ma heid..another easy wan:

Some nice chords later on in the song, but the intro is:

Dm7 - G7

OR

E flat minor7 & A flat 7

(I think it's aff-pitch?)

I'ts by Toddzilla!

Good game, this!
