To get back to the subject at hand.
How the heck did the drivers get stuck on opposite sides anyways? I figure the biggest problem in standardizing it now is the driver position. But it also has to be the biggest obstacle in globalization of some auto makers as well.
It really should have been standardized from the get-go of automaking. I wonder if it was a business decision. Some Brit or American decided to go the opposite side so there wouldn't be competition.
