I've got my ears to the ground, my shoulder to the wheel and my nose to the grindstone, but I only have eyes for you. The rest will always be yours for the asking.

I am so happy to see you here, you don't even know. In your glourious honour, I have a special surprise for you. Tonight, look for a thread about The Who, started by Donavan, which I'll bump back up to the top. Its in the garage section. There's something I'm going to post in there (if I can find it!) that will have you laughing yer ass off.

an Exclusive of the Elusive Chrestus! oh my word! All I want to be is the first in line!!! I will rush off now to the Garage (did you guys already have the discussion of how to pronounce it across that great divide?)

So happy to see you too Chrestus... you really are unique in the spectrum of things.

Who's on the seventh floor
Brewing alternatives?
What's in the bottom drawer
Waiting for things to give?

Very Happy

I feel like someone has thrown open a window and let a cool brisk breeze blow through this place.. aaaahhhhh.... Mr. Green

Props to Teiny for luring our bella gal back to us!

Ali, I read your post in the other place, and wanted to say congratulations on all your achievements and especially making it through some health troubles. That's always the hardest thing, and it really does take a lot to feel yourself again once you are back on the mend. I don't know whether or not to congratulate you on the divorce, (I sometimes am envious of divorcees! So there is def part in there of good news for you). Bet your kids are big now!

Persey... thanks for your ultra sweet greet! You are the star in my book... one of the absolute best creations around, no doubt!

hey SIMPS! You have a talent to make me laugh out loud and that's a real gift that you've got.

Thanks Blushift for the good word! Sometimes I guess I do look a little spamish!

Going through health stuff is really tough, Ali, and doing it with school and work and 2 kids is quite an achievement on its own, so this is testiment to your energy and strength. Hope all of that stays very much in the past and that your health improves all the time.

Your girls are becoming little ladies then, Ali! Despite the fabled "magic of childhood" I wish my daughter (11 going on 10) would grow up a bit! I don't suppose you have the Argentinian television Series called "Patito Feo" or "Il Mondo di Patty" (that would be Ugly Patty in Spanish and Patty's World in Italian). It is more than a big thing here, it is .... omnipresent ... My daughter is obsessed and would like to be 16 like they are, but she still is cutting out paper dolls of all the characters... The story is a high school where the kids are divided into 2 groups, the cool ones who shop till they drop and the normal ones who are.... normal. Obviously, my daughter identifies with what she is not, and sings the song of Las Divinas (in Spanish) and walks up and down the hall corridor as if she is doing a fashion show, or loaded down with shopping bags full of the latest styles that she pulls out of the bags and models. She is really tall, so she actually uses my clothes, I sit here (supposed to be working) roll my eyes Rolling Eyes and wonder which one of the magnificent outfits is going to waltz past next. I tell myself "It is a phase"... what phase precisely I do not know... but it will pass!

Are you still specialised in double and single malts!?

S BOY! Things are ok, hope you are still flying high over those lofty plains!
I am sorry about the Huskies, and I will also bring back to you the Alpha Male who misses his companions.

You still got that Judy Collins tattoo? (this was the way to talk about husbands' hairy backs in the house of Big Brother).

Very nice to see you in orbit!
