And yet the reviews have been nearly all positive. I haven't seen the movie yet (likely never will), but it's apparently a faithful Zemeckis vehicle, with animation and direction reducing the voice stars to second-fiddle status.
Maybe it should have been three things the world doesn't need, in order to include animations that are so photo-realistic that they might as well have used real actors.
