DELPHIC
Everynow and again you see a gig that just exceeds all your expectaions. Delphic are from manchester and on the French kitsune which has given us Phoenix, Foals, Simian Mobile Disco, la Roux among others.

Although this was a tiny 100 person pub venue the set up was almost stadium like. Lights, sound were way out of the usual league for this type of venue. The band on paper is not most peoples cup of tea, a fusion of of dance, computer programming, samples but they pull it togther awesomly well. Its like a cross between New Order, radiohead and Hawkwind - and you end up being caught in a light and sonic wind tunnell.

I would expect to hear a lot more from this band in 2010.
