The sample track, Measure sounds like a Mummer session with Macca popping in to lend a hand.

The song sounds good, but are they worthing driving 6 hours and spending $$$ on to see? What songs/album should I check out first? I know these are the most annoying things to ask, but I appreciate it.

Ooh, this is exciting. And totally out of the blue, at least for me.
I'm sort of low on cash at the moment, and this is the first new release in months I've felt the need to cough up the dough for.

Thanks Mr Tein. To be honest I only really like that track from their new album, but sometimes it takes time for things to sink in. I've got tickets for a bunch of shows, so I don't know if I can see them. Any chance they'll do a bigger US tour next year?

Blimming flip! That's an age away! I'd love to see them again. Maybe, after the show, we can hang out with the band and one of them can scowl at you for rummaging through a box of CDS left on the stage. Tee hee!

I am ELATED!!!

I have been playing my three Field Music discs (thank you Andrew, Mr Tein and Mags, of course) nonstop for the past three weeks for absolutely no reason other than I love them.

Two weeks ago, I went to Rhino Records in Claremont, CA and asked for School of Music. Nuffim, they said. Waah, I said. Well, this is much happier news!
