For non-British fans, who may have been confused by the bands description of some Skylarking tracks as "figures on a Toytown landscape viewed from above", this, for me is what the album is about - a certain peculiar Englishness/Britishness - personified by the following charming clips:
Some tunes even have the legendary Rundgrenesque metronome, and one even has 'the six o'clock whistle' a la The Meeting Place!
