As for a starting topic...
Stupid Tigers can't finish off the stupid Twins to take the stupid division! Oh, how the Tigers like to screw with their fans. Now they have to play the stupid White Sox while the Twins get to play the stupid Royals. Those stupid Royals better beat them like they did the Tigers.
Of course if they get to the play-offs they'll most likely crash and burn. Stupid baseball.
I did have a funny conversation about it the other day though. While taking a walk the other day I pass an older gentleman sitting on his porch and he decides we wants to spark a little conversation and asks "Hey, you think we can beat Minnesota?" I figure he saw my Detroit cap and is a fellow displaced fan but when I start saying something about how it'll be difficult to beat them in all the games he seems confused... turns out he was asking about the Packers-Vikings game this weekend.... stupid football. _________________ ...in my pants |

Oh well, the Twins also have a Royals game against Greinke coming up that they could easily lose- that guy is scary good. _________________ ...in my pants |

On an (unsubstantial) side note, I concur with you about Season of the Witch, which I'd forgotten was a Donovan song. Also, the vanilla thing, but that's another forum... _________________ "Bolton fans know nothing about football. If you seek evidence of this fact just look at which team they choose to support!" |

I had my usual low fat yogurt and 3 prunes for breakfast.... plus my vitamin D supplement and my iron supplement.
I'm thinking of going out for a walk this morning since its sunny at the moment. It was raining earlier.
I need to do some ironing.
Facebook is quite good for talking about nothing; that's usually where I leave that kind of convo. _________________ Desperate times best forgotten ..... |

I'm glad they finally got around to finishing that freeway sound wall. It has definitely cut down on the ambient traffic noise in my neighborhood. Now all we have to do is get rid of all of the barking dogs, and move the LAX incoming flight path a couple of miles to the north or south of us. Yeah, that would be great. Ain't gonna happen.. but it would be nice.
Ben is asking me if there are any clean socks in the house. I should really start a load of laundry. In a minute.

I figure that by the end of the day my big toe will be through the end of my socks I'm wearing.
I just found out yesterday that Michelle Duggar is now pregnant with her 19th child. Someone please sew this women's knees together _________________ Desperate times best forgotten ..... |

We had pizza with our friends Bruce and Maria. They told us about the Crosby Stills and Nash show they went to. Well they didn't actually buy tickets and go into the outdoor venue, they sat outside and listened, because usually you can hear the music for free. But this show was abnormally quiet, and they went home early.
Then, last night I dreamed I was reading news on the internet and David Crosby died. Right then I was sorry I hadn't paid my money and gone to see them. I woke up and realized it was a dream, and I guess it didn't matter. _________________ I know what it's like to be Peter Fonda. |
