My 8 year old's team won their first game yesterday 2-1 despite collective defending like the Keystone Kops.

Not a bad week for the Jam Tarts with a midweek League Cup win over Dunfermline, and a League win over Hamilton at the weekend.

It's just a shame that we're playing like, er, the Keystone Cops at the moment! Rolling Eyes

I can never decide if I love or hate penalty kicks! In a showbiz way they are the ultimate (if the match is already tied at 2-2...) but they always seem so UNFAIR to the losers!

all i know is i HATE the golden goal.

I always liked the idea that penalties are taken BEFORE the game so the team that losees on penalties knows and they have to go hell for leather to win during extra time. if they dont its not the fault of the guy who missed the penalty.
